MIDDLEVILLE, MI A Barry County village president apologized for a recent controversial Facebook post that thrust a spotlight on the small community, but resisted calls for her to resign.
Middleville Village President Amanda Fisk was the focus of more than two hours of public comment during a regular village council meeting Tuesday, Feb. 23.
She has been under fire since a Feb. 17 post on her personal Facebook page that included a news article about conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh’s death, with a line of “HAHAHAHAHAHA” added above the news link. ....
