World Refrigeration Day helps fund new STEM academy
Aim of STEMAZING Inspiration Academy is to enable more women to provide STEM role models to primary schools
World Refrigeration Day is one of the sponsors behind a new academy which aims to support women s representation in STEM subjects. The STEMAZING Inspiration Academy has been founded by Alexandra Knight, who gave up her job with Amey to create the  STEMAZINGKids organisation. The academy has two objectives: to support women to be more confident with public engagement; and to inspire children with STEM.
The programme includes training and workshops for women in STEM to build their confidence on camera and their STEM delivery toolbox. These newly empowered role models then deliver a 6-week programme of LIVE online STEM sessions designed to engage children aged 5 - 9 years old. ....
