(File photo) On Friday morning, guests from at least two different isolation hotels in downtown Auckland, the Rydges and the Grand Mercure, were at the exercise field simultaneously. Grand Millennium guests were there the day before. The groups exercised in separate pens but on the same field, under the watch of managed isolation staff. Returnees were all wearing masks and trying to socially distance in their bubbles when Stuff visited on Friday. None were running or exercising vigorously – one managed isolation veteran said he was told not to exercise too hard to avoid puffing, especially when re-embarking the buses. ....
