“A recent study published in the journal Nutrients[1]
concluded that moderate beer consumption of 1 beer per day
for women and 1–2 beers per day for men is associated with
decreased incidence of cardiovascular disease and overall
mortality, among other health benefits.” Says Brewers

The Brewers Association of New Zealand has asked the Government to halve the rate of excise tax paid on kegged beer, as a way to support the struggling hospitality sector.
