In commemorating the 32nd anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, on the fifth anniversary of Federal Law No 3 of 2016 on child protection, best known as “Wadeema’s Law”, and in preparation for our celebration of Emirati Children’s Day on March 15, we wish to reflect upon our progress on children’s rights and our commitment to the protection and promotion of human rights.

Abu Dhabi Police lead major new anti-drug campaign

Brochures and leaflets in Arabic, English and Urdu will be distributed across the emirate.

UAE: Anti-drugs campaign in Arabic, English, Urdu launched

Month-long campaign will highlight the consequences of drug abuse on an individual, his/her family and community.
A month-long anti-drugs campaign targeting youngsters, their families and the local community has been launched in the UAE Capital. Authorities in Abu Dhabi will organise a number of initiatives, field programmes, lectures and awareness workshops in Arabic, English and Urdu.
