Six SIU cops held with 65 tolas of looted gold

Six police officials of Karachi s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) were arrested for not disclosing the recovered 65-tola gold and cash looted from a bungalow.
According to SSP East Investigations Altaf Hussain, the female housemaids had stolen 80 tola of gold from a bungalow in Gulistan-e-Jauhar on June 24.
The case was registered at the Gulistan-e-Jauhar police station. Later, the investigation police arrested two women who revealed that the officials of the SIU had conducted a raid at their house few days ago and took the looted gold away with them.
They women claimed that the officials also took a heavy bribe from their release.
