Crash near Maple Plain caused hours-long detour

MAPLE PLAIN, Minn. Officials say a road has reopened after being closed for several hours Tuesday after a crash.
The Tuesday morning crash slowed down drivers in the Maple Plain area, and caused a traffic snarl for several hours.
Highway 12 around Maple Plain was expected to be closed until Tuesday afternoon. Police said the crash was at County Road 6 and County Road 110.
The area of the crash was already under construction, and West Hennepin Police said drivers needed to take an alternate detour around the detour already in place.
Police expected the closure to last for four hours on Tuesday, but it was cleared before 8 a.m. ....
