Shopian: The health department in Shopian has found itself in an embarrassing situation after misspelling simple words on banners related to a dry run for Covid-19 vaccination.
The flex banners put up by the staff announcing the event misspelt “vaccination” as “vacinaion” and “district” as “dictrict”.
After the mistake was brought to the notice of health authorities, the word “district” was corrected on one of the banners but the other misspelt word was left as it is.
The dry run for the Covid-19 vaccine was held on Friday with about 25 participants. Similar banners were found at Government Primary Health Centre (PHC) Tuckroo, one of them put up at the entrance of the facility. ....
