Ghaziabad: Commuters driving from Delhi to Meerut will get the first full expressway experience beginning Thursday when the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) opens the remaining two of the four phases of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway (DME) to traffic for a trial run.
If one is using the access-controlled lanes of the expressway the six middle lanes, three on either side the 82km drive from Delhi’s Sarai Kale Khan to Meerut will take under an hour. Earlier, the drive between the two cities used to take at least two hours. The formal inauguration of the expressway will, however, take place in about two months. ....

The mom, who local media outlets referred to as Wen, shared the close call to Douyin the original version of TikTok released for Chinese markets on Monday.
The surveillance video reportedly shows Wen sitting on a bench inside her shop in Dongguan, in southern China s Guangdong province, as she prepares to change her baby s diaper.

The City of Ballarat’s award-winning Right to the Night project has been extended in 2021 to Ballarat’s health and medical precinct.
In 2018, the Ballarat project asked women and girls to drop pins on a web-based interactive map to identify where they felt safe or unsafe.
This time participants of all genders can use their mobile phones to visit https://mysay.ballarat.vic.gov.au/ where they can map the locations that make them feel safe or unsafe and explain the reasons why.
The project is focussing on residents and visitors in and around the health and medical precinct, including staff, volunteers, students, patients, carers, visitors, contractors, public transport and taxi users. ....
