City council passes community center, homeless shelter resolutions
Resolutions regarding homeless shelter, community center passed at Jonesboro City Council meeting

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - The Jonesboro City Council passed two resolutions Tuesday night regarding the Veterans Village and a potential homeless shelter.
The council unanimously passed a resolution to enter a contract with Olympus Construction to build the state’s first Veterans Village Community Center.
We shared a few weeks ago that the city got a $250,000 donation from the Attorney General’s office to go towards the project. ....
