BELLEVLLE A passenger who allegedly suffered injuries in a crash on Interstate 64 is suing both drivers involved in the collision. 
Steve Evancho filed a complaint Feb. 8 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Marinko Novakovich, Rain Dogs Trucking Inc., and Cynthia Meyer, alleging negligence. 
According to his complaint, Evancho was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Meyer. Meyer was towing a camper style trailer and traveling eastbound on I-64 in Mascoutah Township on Oct. 9, 2020. Evancho alleges that Novakovich, who was driving a commercial motor vehicle, entered Meyer s lane and struck her vehicle. Meyer s vehicle allegedly left the paved roadway, came into the median and crashed. As a ersult, Evancho claims he suffered injuries.  ....
