FREETOWN  Cathedral Camp announced over the weekend that it will cease operations   yet another casualty of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a message posted to its Facebook page and website over the weekend, Rena Lemieux, camp director, announced the camp is closing due to severe financial strain on the Diocese, brought on by the pandemic.
It turns out that the pandemic was the straw that broke the camel’s back in this regard, Lemiuex said in the message.
For decades, the Diocese ran the camp, located on Long Pond in Freetown, which in her post, Lemiuex says was enjoyed by thousands of children. ....
