Mayor of Marlin urging residents to conserve water due to issues with water plant s compressor systems

MARLIN, TX — UPDATE: Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is in route to a facility in Waco to pick up a trailer with the compressor to deliver to the Marlin Water Plant.
However, due to weather conditions, this may take some time. Hon. Mayor Carolyn Lofton advises citizens to continue to conserve water in the meantime.
The warming station at the Marlin Men s Civic Center is available for those who may need it after noon today. ....
