Mommy, what color is COVID? is a kids colouring book and has a main character in Catie, who doesn’t’ understand why the world is changing, why can’t we do things we used to do and other things related to the pandemic including the vaccine.

Pemberton purchases new ultrasound machine

“It’s used by physicians at the (emergency) bedside when we need to make decisions around patient management and patient care,” said Dr. Rebecca Lindley, a physician at the Pemberton Health Centre. “It’s really helpful for us in Pemberton because we don’t have X-rays and lab tests out-of-hours most of the time. It’s a great tool we can use to help change whether we send people to hospital or not. It’s a bit more help with diagnosis.”
The cost of the new ultrasound machine approximately $60,000 was covered by funds raised from the last two charity golf tournaments held by the PDHCF at Big Sky Golf Club, as well as a private bequest from the family of Pemberton’s celebrated pioneer George Underhill. ....
