A Citizens Budget Guide was launched today aimed at improving people’s perception of budget and to promote accountability and transparency in public financial management.
The guide is developed by the Fiji Council of Social Services (FCOSS) with the support of United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Pacific Islands Association of Non-Governmental Organisations (PIANGO).
The European Union (EU)-funded guide will promote good governance and verify the effectiveness of public funds in compliance with people’s needs. ....
