PHOTO SUBMITTED Mifflinburg Bank & Trust made a donation of $15,000 to the Public Library for Union County’s ReImagine, ReFresh, RePurpose Campaign. The money raised is being used to make enhancements to the library, including a new children’s library, improved adult service areas and facility updates. Mifflinburg Bank & Trust president and CEO Jeffrey Kapsar presented the donation to Don Adams, president of the Board of Trustees for the Public Library for Union County. “We have been a member of the Lewisburg community for years, and we feel that giving back and supporting essential organizations, like the library, is a core value of Mifflinburg Bank and Trust,” Kapsar said. ....

Dec 19, 2020 The Salvation Army at Sunbury and Milton lowered its goals and decreased volunteers and locations for its annual red kettle campaign â now called Rescue Christmas â because they anticipated the giving climate might not be as robust as it was in the past. The Sunbury location is at $36,000 toward its $50,000 goal and Milton is at $29,000 toward its $30,000 goal, which ends at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 24. The Salvation Army offices in Sunbury and Milton also started their Here.
