Woman doctor jumps of 14th floor Noida apartment after testing COVID-19 positive

A woman, who was a doctor by profession, jumped off her 14th-floor apartment in Noida on Saturday (April 24) after testing positive for COVID-19. She and her husband had tested positive for the coronavirus two days ago.
The unfortunate incident took place at Paramount Floraville in Sector 137 of Noida. The police have taken the woman s body for autopsy

NOIDA: Now, bank and insurance workers, teachers, lawyers, judges and journalists aged over 45 years can get the Covid-19 vaccine at special camps across Gautam Budh Nagar. The district administration has released a schedule for vaccinating these groups from April 8 onwards. Meanwhile, surveillance and sanitisation activities have also been intensified.
According to the schedule, journalists, mediapersons as well as shopkeepers will be vaccinated on April 8 and 9, whereas bank and insurance staff will get the shot on April 10 and school and college teachers on April 12-14.
Meanwhile, autorickshaw, bus and taxi drivers will be inoculated on April 15-16, other government officials on April 17-19 and court staff and lawyers on April 20-21. Private company employees will get the jab on April 22 and 23. ....

Noida: To help make Sector 137 a “zero-waste sector”, Paramount Floraville, one of the eight housing societies in the locality, will have a waste processing plant installed within a week, residents have said.
Following the installation of this wet waste processing machine, the society will not be sending any waste out of its premises. The Rs 45 lakh machine will cost Rs 120 per family per month for the next four years, after which there will be no added cost. Two more societies in the sector may soon follow through.
“We have just signed an agreement with Yes Full Circle for the waste processing machine. They will help us install the machine and provide other solutions for making our society completely zero waste. It is the first-of-its-kind initiative in Noida,” said Abhisht Kusum Gupta, a resident of Paramount Floraville. ....
