Assault Public Officers – Alexander Heights
Four people have been charged with assault after two male Constables were assaulted in Alexander Heights.
At around 1.20am on Sunday 17 January 2021, the two Officers attended a service station on Mirrabooka Avenue in Alexander Heights and attempted to engage with a driver of a vehicle parked at the station.
It will be alleged the driver and his associates became aggressive and surrounded one of the Police Officers.
A conflict ensued and it will be alleged that members of the group assaulted both Officers. One of the Police Officers was kicked and punched in the head. He was also was struck to the back of the head with his police torch. ....
