MILFORD The police department’s Facebook page is often used to post descriptions of suspects, but this Valentine’s Day it took a more romantic tone.
Police say they are looking for the owner of a diamond ring that’s been stored as “evidence” for three months, Milford Crime Prevention officer Marilisa N. Anania said Sunday.
The hashtag on the post is: #SaveValentinesDay.
The engagement-style diamond ring, new in the box, was found about three months ago on the sidewalk near the firehouse at 349 Naugatuck Ave., and brought to police who have been waiting for someone to inquire about it. ....
