A slew of new, indigenously-developed equipment was unveiled at an Army innovation event that included Shakti, a cutting-edge bulletproof jacket, a 9mm Machine pistol and a surveillance microcopter.

Developed by Major Anoop Mishra, the bulletproof vest dubbed Shakti is, reportedly, the world s first flexible body armour capable of being worn by both male and female combatants
Equipped with an upper receiver made from Aircraft grade Aluminium, and lower receiver made out of Carbon Fibre, the ASMI also sports an 8-inch barrel and a magazine capacity of 33 rounds ....
