DONEGAL Film Office has secured funding from Creative Ireland to launch the first Short Film Bursary Award in Donegal.
The Donegal Film Office Short Film Bursary is a creative response to showcase the talent in Donegal. A grant of €10,000 will be awarded to a filmmaker towards the cost of the production of a short drama or documentary film of 10-12 min duration to be shot in the county this year.
The Bursary aims to foster talent, creativity and activity in filmmaking in County Donegal. Applications are being called from film makers who have a script that has been developed, seen by a director and has had input from a producer. Donegal County Council is enticing filmmakers to shoot a short drama or documentary in the county this year with the offer of a €10,000 grant.
Funding for the Donegal Film Office s first Short Film Bursary Award has been secured from Creative Ireland and now the office is putting the call out to filmmakers to apply for it.
The bursary aims to foster talent, creativity, and activity in filmmaking in Donegal and will be given towards the cost of the production of a short film of 10-12 minute duration. ....
