Bermudaâs Somers Ltd snaps up stake in fundie Aura Group Save Share Bermuda-based investment group Somers Ltd has added another Australian financial services company to its portfolio. It is understood Somers, which has a controlling $600 million stake in ASX-listed non-bank lender Resimac and 33.5 per cent of Thorn Group, has agreed terms to invest in privately owned wealth manager Aura Group. Somersâ biggest investment is a 62 per cent stake in Australiaâs Resimac Group. Â Rob Homer Somers is expected to take a 15 per cent stake owned by some of Auraâs early backers, and then use its investment to try to help Asia Pacific specialist Aura bust into European capital markets. ....
