Die Thüringerinnen und Thüringer hatten im ersten Vierteljahr 2021 etwas mehr Geld im Portemonnaie als im Vorjahr. Der durchschnittliche Bruttomonatsverdienst der vollzeit-, teilzeit- und geringfügig beschäftigten Arbeitnehmer betrug im Produzierenden Gewerbe und im Dienstleistungsbereich 2 899 Euro.
Nach Mitteilung des Thüringer Landesamtes für Statistik waren das 1,5 Prozent mehr als im gleichen Zeitraum des Vorjahres.
Vollzeitbeschäftigte Arbeitnehmer erhielten im 1. Vierteljahr 2021 einschließlich Sonderzahlungen im Durchschnitt monatlich 3 352 Euro (+0,9 Prozent) bei einer durchschnittlich um ca. 66 Minuten kürzeren wöchentlichen Arbeitszeit von 37,8 Stunden.
Während der Verdienst im Produzierenden Gewerbe gegenüber dem Vorjahresquartal fast unverändert bei durchschnittlich 3 114 Euro lag, war bei den Vollzeitbeschäftigten im Dienstleistungsbereich ein Verdienstanstieg um durchschnittlich 1,3 Prozent auf 3 538 Euro zu verzeichn

At Michigan State University (MSU), a student government bill aims to pressure university administration to hire an “undocumented student affairs” position.
Passed on March 4, Bill 57-78 calls on the Associated Students of Michigan State University (ASMSU) to “Advocate for the Hiring of a Full-Time Employee for Undocumented Student Affairs.”
“This employee shall have a designated area in order to create a safe space for undocumented students to seek support,” states the bill.
