HOLY COMMUNION
Elder Phillip Thomas gave the consecration prayer and Elder Leo Parker provided inspiring music throughout the service.
Students took communion during the service, which was held last Wednesday, both via Zoom, Facebook and in-person at the institute s chapel.
The speaker was Elder Dr. Erta Livingston, senior pastor of Gainesville Church of God By Faith, who spoke about the importance of “true communion.” The text of his sermon came from I Corinthians 11:23-26.
Livingston said it’s important for church and individuals to walk with God. He said churches and individuals must make sure they are prepared for the time of consecration. He said communion is the way God talks and shares with us. ....
