Samaritan Centre gets vital funding
The Samaritan Centre has received funding from United Way North East Ontario and the City of Greater Sudbury to continue operating its Drop-In Centre for a full year, the organization announced in a press release on Thursday.

A United Way Grant of $40,000, along with $25,000 from the city, will allow the Drop-In Centre to continue providing services for vulnerable individuals.
The Drop-In Centre, open Monday to Friday afternoons, provides access to communication services through computers, Internet, printing, and telephones. It has staff and volunteers on hand to assist with services, as well as referrals to other agencies and supports. ....
