Small investors in AMP, many of whom still hold the shares they received when it first listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 1998, must be wondering what’s next for the troubled wealth management company.
AMP made its sharemarket debut at more than $20. The shares were worth about $14 two years later but since 2008 it has been an almost continuous downhill run for the share price.
