Reed Griggs holds his winning check of $2,000 for finishing in first place in the Mathews Rotary 14th annual Rockfish Tournament, presented by club president Karl Braun.
Good weather prevailed and 23 boats competed for a total of $4,000 in prize money in the past weekend’s 14th annual Mathews Rotary Club Rockfish Tournament, which was based at the Morningstar Marinas on Milford Haven.
Funds raised at the event support educational and health programs within Mathews County. The boat captains and their anglers enjoyed great weather on both days with temperatures in the 60s and relatively calm seas on Saturday and Sunday. ....
