By Bob Peters Cornwall Ontario – CMP Advanced Mechanical Solutions will be establishing a new mechanical assembly operation in Cornwall. The widely respected Canadian manufacturer has leased 40,000 sq.ft. at 1020 Montreal Road and will be looking to hire 25 workers at the new facility. “As we grow our business, the need for additional capacity for light assembly work has emerged,” says Alexandra Keenan, Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Strategy Advisor with CMP. “We have immediate openings for mechanical assemblers, drivers, quality inspector and shipping/receiving clerks who can drive a forklift.” In an effort to service its customers at the highest possible levels, CMP opened a 90,000 sq.ft. warehouse and logistics center in the Cornwall Business Park last year.
