Businesses at Sylvan Beach are getting ready for the summer season, and Mayor Richard Sullivan is expecting this year to be busy.
We’re already seeing a pent up demand from the public. They want to get out. They’ve got the cabin fever, and they want to get out.
One of the difficulties many businesses are having is finding additional employees. Because there’s such a lack of help, the Sylvan Beach Amusement Park has had to push their opening day back almost a month. Pat Goodenow is the Sylvan Beach Amusement Park Manager. ....

THE LATEST FIGHT FOR THE CITY CHAMPIONS IS GETTING BROCKTON PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AND STAFF VACCINATED. NOW THAT HYBRID LEARNING HAS RESUMED FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE DISTRICT’S 15,700 STUDENTS. FELT LIKE I HIT THE LOTTERY. I FEEL VERY EMOTIONAL BECAUSE THIS IS A BIG DAY. IT REALLY IS. MATT: BROCKTON HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER SARAH WATT SCHEDULED HER APPOINTMENT DURING HER MORNING PREP TIME.
