The improvement aims to ease the burden of manually searching the medical records of any Pasigueño in the city’s health centers especially if he/she transfers from one barangay to another.
“Naranasan mo na bang pumunta sa ibang health center tapos di ka ma-accomodate dahil nasa kabilang Center ang records mo, lalo na para sa mga lumipat na ng barangay? O baka naman po isa ka sa mga nagfo-“forum shopping” na papalit-palit ng center hanggang makuha mo ang resetang gusto mo? (Have you experienced going to a health center but cannot be accommodated because your medical record is in another center, especially those who transferred from one barangay to another? Or are you one of those who are doing “forum shopping” just to get the prescription of your choice?),” Sotto asked in a Facebook post. ....

Pasig City chosen as pilot city for new contact tracing system

Dubbed as Project Connect, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto and officials from Aboitiz Foundation showed how the new system works and how it will make contact tracing efforts easier and more efficient.
“Project Connect is initiated by NEDA, made possible by the data analytics team of AIM-SITE, powered by the Aboitiz Foundation, and is currently being pilot tested with our team in Pasig,” Sotto said in his Facebook post Wednesday.

“The project connects covid testing data (DOH CBMS system) to our contact tracing app (PasigPass). An algorithm then helps identify and notify close contacts automatically,” he added. ....

7 households inside Pasig subdivision fined, ticketed over firecracker use

“As promised, tineketan namin ang mga taga-exclusive subdivision na nagpaputok nung New Year (we issued tickets to residents of an exclusive subdivision who used firecrackers during the New Year),” Sotto said in a Facebook post.
He added, “7 households in Valle Verde reported to us were ticketed and fined 5,000 pesos each.”
The mayor said residents of the households that were fined were surprised when they were informed of their violation, but he noted that they cooperated with authorities.
Sotto expressed his gratitude to the Peace and Order Department of the city government and local police. He also thanked the village administrators for their assistance. ....
