The Louth Ladies will once again compete in the Intermediate championship, with their destiny revealed following last night s draw

The Louth ladies footballers learnt their championship destinies last night as the draw for the 2021 TG4 Intermediate Football championship was made live on the LGFA’s social media channels.
13 counties will compete for the Mary Quinn Memorial Cup, with the teams split into three groups of three and one group of four and The Wee County were drawn into Group D of the competition, alongside Down and Offaly. ....

Tipperary defender Samantha Lambert has announced her retirement from inter-county football.
Lambert captained Tipp to two All-Ireland intermediate titles during his playing career in 2017 and 2019 and won her first as a 16-year-old back in 2008.
The Ardfinnan native went on to play a key role in the Premier women’s climb from Division 3 up to Division 1, as Shane Royane’s side captured four national titles in the last four years.
Speaking to Tipperary Live, Lambert described lining for her county over the last 13 years as “an absolute privilege”.
“It has been an absolute privilege not only to play for Tipperary but to also captain the team for the past four years,” she said. ....

The 2020 TG4 All-Ireland Intermediate and Senior Ladies Football Championship Finals will bring the curtain down on Croke Park s inter-county playing year on Sunday.  
There’s a tasty double-header down for decision at GAA HQ – with Meath and Westmeath meeting in an all-Leinster Intermediate decider at 1.15pm, followed by the Senior Final between Cork and four-in-a-row chasing Dublin.
