A Rancho El Dorado man was arrested Wednesday and charged with additional sex crimes as part of an investigation that began last year.
David L. Conway, 38, of West Michaels Drive, was initially arrested Oct. 29 and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor (child pornography), one count of failure to update address per sex offender requirements, failure to provide online identifiers as well as luring a minor for sexual exploitation, according to police. At the time, authorities said he was an unregistered sexual offender.
Those charges came after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip in February 2020 identifying him as the alleged uploader of child porn images on social media that contained visual depictions of minors, including one less than 10 years old, engaged in exploitive or lascivious exhibition, police said. ....
