LebTown Annville Township Accidents Involving Damage To Unattended Vehicles – On Feb. 22, 2021 at 1:30 a.m., Annville police filed criminal charges against Kelvin Malave, a 37 year old North Annville Twp. resident, with three counts of Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicles, Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended (DUI-related), and Careless Driving. The charges are related to a four-vehicle crash on Feb. 22, 2021 at 1:23 a.m. in the 400 block of East Main St. In that crash, Malave was driving a vehicle eastbound when he lost control of the car, striking three unoccupied parked vehicles. Bethel Township Advertisement Theft – On March 1, 2021 at 5:44 p.m., this incident occurred on SR 22 as the Victim purchased two Western Union checks and mailed them to a friend. Harassment – A 25 year old man with no permanent address has been cited for Harassment after an incident on Jan. 19, 2021 at 4:10 p.m. on the 00 block of North 6th St. Public Drunkenness – A 28 year old Swatara Twp. man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on Jan. 21, 2021 at 4:30 a.m. at Lehman St. and Cherry St. Drug Possession – A 35 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on Jan. 16, 2021 at 6:04 p.m. on the 1,000 block of Willow St.

LebTown Bethel Township Theft Of Motor Vehicle – This crime occurred as two blue 2013 Yamaha golf carts were stolen from the Blue Mountain Golf Course, located on the 600 block of Blue Mountain Rd., between Jan. 4, 2021 and Jan. 19, 2021. The unknown Actor(s) stole the golf carts by unknown means and fled in an unknown direction. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police Jonestown Barracks. The Victim was Blue Mountain Golf Course in Fredericksburg. Theft – On Jan. 18, 2021 at approximately 6:56 p.m., the Victim walked into PSP Jonestown to report that he had received a phone call from an unknown individual who he only knew as “federal agent,” Chris Hasty, who was utilizing phone number 215-372-4770. The unknown individual told the Victim that a federal audit of the sexual offender registry was completed and he needed to send them money. The Victim related that the individual then indicated that he had to come up with $2,500 via a Green Dot

Blotter: Fatal crashes, train vs car crash, accidental fire

LebTown City of Lebanon Train Vs. Car Accident – On Dec. 12, 2020 at 3:45 p.m., police were dispatched to a train versus car accident at the railroad crossing of North Lincoln Ave. Police learned that a 61 year old South Lebanon woman attempted to travel across the railroad gates after a westbound train had cleared the intersection on the southern RR tracks. She stated a few other vehicles also went around the gates; however, the gates were in the down position due to an eastbound train on the northern RR tracks. As she crossed the tracks, the train struck the front of her car, spinning the car sideways. The woman was not injured and the car sustained minor damage. The train stopped after impact and reported its speed to be 38 mph at the time of the accident. The Engineer and Conductor were not injured. Traffic citations will be filed against her.

Blotter: Driving on suspended license, criminal mischief, theft

LebTown Bethel Township Vehicle Accident – On Nov. 27, 2020 at 1:11 a.m., this crash occurred on I 78 West in the area of mile marker 6.2 in Bethel Twp. This crash occurred as Operator 1, a 20 year old Allentown man, was traveling west on I 78 West in Unit 1, a 2017 Honda Pilot, and was unable to avoid striking tire debris on the roadway. Unit 1 sustained mild damage to its front driver’s side bumper and fender at the 11 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 as well as Passenger 1, Passenger 2, and Passenger 3 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash.
