Investigation papers on Neelofa, husband's interstate travel violation sent to AGC on Friday (May 21)

SEREMBAN (Bernama): The investigation papers regarding interstate travel charges against TV host-entrepreneur Neelofa Mohd Noor and her husband Muhammad Haris Mohd Ismail have been sent to the Attorney General’s Chambers for further actionon Friday (May 21).
Nilai OCPD Supt Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said in a statement that the investigation papers were sent at 2.30pm.
Regarding the issue of interstate travel to Nilai, the investigation papers were forwarded to the Attorney General’s Chambers for a decision relating to the matter in line with Clause (3) Article 145 of the Federal Constitution, ” he said.
On Thursday (May 20), Muhammad Haris was charged on two counts of failing to comply with the standard operating procedure (SOP) of the conditional movement control order by not wearing a face mask and not scanning the MySejahtera app or recording his personal details manually to enter Kedai Naeem Carpet Sdn Bhd, Kawasan Perindustrian Nilai 3 on May 2. ....

Neelofa and hubby to be charged for violating SOP during carpet shopping trip

NILAI: TV host-entrepreneur Neelofa will be charged at the Magistrate s Court here on Thursday (May 20) for allegedly not adhering to Covid-19 prevention procedures when shopping for carpets at Nilai 3 near here, which was in violation of the conditional movement control order.
The 32-year-old celebrity will be charged for failing to scan her details via the MySejahtera application or manually before entering the premises.
Her husband, Muhammad Haris Muhammad Ismail, 26 will also be charged for the same offence they allegedly committed on May 2.
Nilai OCPD Supt Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said Muhammad Haris would be slapped with an additional charge of failing to put on a face mask while in a public place. ....

The police have refuted a picture that went viral on social media on a police operation in which compounds amounting to RM30,000 were purportedly issued to individuals for violating the Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP) for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Nilai police chief Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman said the picture actually showed a house-to-house inspection on the first day of Aidilfitri in a housing area in Nilai Impian, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan yesterday.

POLICE have submitted the investigation papers on celebrity Neelofa Mohd Noor and husband Haris Ismail to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC) for further action.
