Debbie Donelle owns a successful lingerie business that has two locations: one in Pointe-Claire and another on Monkland Avenue in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, she had eight employees to help her run the stores she s now down to three.
And she says if the closures continue, she isn t sure how she will continue to pay the rent for both stores.
It s really hard to say. I m not 100 per cent certain that we ll be able to keep both stores open, said Donelle. It depends how long this goes on. ....

Smadar Brandes was walking home from Villa Maria Metro station when Mathew Roberge appeared in front of her on the sidewalk and stabbed her.
The victim of a random stabbing in NDG says she is angry and frustrated to learn that her attacker is at large again, for the second time in two months.
Mathew Roberge was out on parole after serving time for manslaughter when he attacked Smadar Brandes five years ago.
Brandes reached out to CBC after she said she was notified by the Correctional Service of Canada last night that they had issued a warrant for his arrest because he had failed to respect curfew at his halfway house, and was at large. ....
