MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – Morgantown city council addressed a variety of issues at their virtual meeting Tuesday night.
Chair of the Community Policing and Citizens Review Committee, deputy mayor Rachel Fetty hopes to have a draft ordinance prepared for council to review in the coming weeks. Fetty encouraged members of the public to get involved in the process and expressed disappointment in comments she says have come from the members of the community.
“I hear things sometimes in the community that are very saddening in terms of folks feeling that is designed to reflect poorly on the police department,” Fetty said. ....
