Yadagirigutta: Rockslide on Temple Ghat Road Due to Heavy Rains

YADADRI BHUVANAGIRI: Torrential rains battering the State of Telangana for the past 24 hours, resulted in soil loosening and rockslides over the second corner of the Ghat Road leading to the Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple on Thursday morning at Yadadri Bhuvanagri district.
Fortunately, a major disaster was averted as there were no pilgrims or vehicular movements going on the road at that time. Authorities rushed in and took measures to prevent vehicles from going through that route. Vehicles were diverted through the first ghat road as there was a possibility of more boulders falling due to rain. ....
