Myasnikovich: SDGs help fulfill key tasks of Eurasian integration
MINSK, 20 May (BelTA) – The realization of the Sustainable Development Goals helps fulfill key tasks of Eurasian integration. Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich made the relevant statement during the online high-level discussion on harnessing inter-regional integration for the SDGs on 20 May, BelTA has learned. The discussion was organized by Belarus, Barbados, and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
According to Mikhail Myasnikovich, the Eurasian Economic Union consists of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and the Eurasian Economic Commission and pays close attention to helping the member states achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. The Eurasian Economic Union Treaty and fundamental documents of the Eurasian Economic Union cover all the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 108 out of the 169 key tasks of the goal ....

MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Belarus has an effective and well-developed metrological infrastructure, BelTA learned from First Deputy Chairman of the State Standardization Committee Dmitry Bartashevich at a press conference held on 18 May to discuss innovations and ways of development of metrology in Belarus.
The official noted that Belarus has an effective and well-developed metrological infrastructure, which includes the state metrological service (the National Metrological Institute is part of it), 16 organizations of the State Standardization Committee, and metrological services of various government agencies and Belarusian enterprises.
The State Standardization Committee is in charge of pursuing a unified government policy and coordinating work in the area of ensuring the uniformity of measurements. ....

MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – The monetary policy advisory council of the central (national) banks of the EAEU member states held a web-based session on 15 April, BelTA learned from the Information and Public Relations Department of the National Bank of Belarus.
The meeting discussed the current economic situation and the status of the monetary policy in the EAEU countries, including the measures taken to reduce the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic. The parties exchanged views on the preparation of an international treaty on the supranational body to regulate the financial market, discussed the status of work on the draft international treaty on standardized license. MOSCOW, 15 April (BelTA) – A package of amendments to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty will be presented before the heads of state of the Eurasian Economic Union at a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in May. Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich mentioned it in his speech during the 22nd April International Scientific Conference of HSE University, Russia on 15 April, the press service of the Eurasian Economic Commission told BelTA.
Mikhail Myasnikovich said the heads of state will see a package of amendments to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty on 21 May. The package includes 137 amendments. MOSCOW, 15 April (BelTA) – Three key principles should become the ideological linchpin of Eurasian integration in the near future. Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich made the statement during the 22nd April International Scientific Conference of HSE University, Russia on 15 April, BelTA has learned.
Mikhail Myasnikovich mentioned trust as the first principle. He said: “It is necessary to build up trust in the Eurasian Economic Union, its institutions and integration processes as a whole among national agencies, entrepreneurs, and members of the general public of the member states.
