On 27 April an online Steering Committee meeting on co-operation between the Council of Europe and the Russian Federation took place.
The meeting was opened by the co-chairs Nikolay Kobrinets, Director of the Department for European Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Director of the Office of the Directorate General of Programmes Verena Taylor, followed by Permanent Representative of Russian Federation to the Council of Europe, Ivan Soltanovsky.

How to apply the Free Legal Aid system in cases addressing domestic violence and justice for children will be part of the trainings organised in North Macedonia for attorneys and legal professionals, organised with the support of the EU and Council of Europe joint programme Horizontal Facility II. On 25 February 2021, the Council of Europe HELP online course on Key human rights principles in biomedicine was launched in North Macedonia for 30 candidate judges and prosecutors, in cooperation with the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors of the Republic of North Macedonia.
