Power Finance Corp pays interim dividend of Rs 1,182.63 cr to govt for FY21

State-run Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has paid an interim dividend of Rs 1,182.63 crore to the government for financial year 2020-21.
Power Finance Corporation has paid an interim dividend of Rs 1,182.63 crore to government of India for the financial year 2020-21 on March 31st, 2021 on 1,47,82,91,778 number of equity shares (56 per cent) held by the government, a PFC statement said.
The interim dividend RTGS (real time gross settlement) intimation bank advice was presented to Power Minister R K Singh by Ravinder Singh Dhillon, CMD, PFC in the presence of Power Secretary Alok Kumar on Wednesday.
The interim dividend for FY 2020-21 at the rate of Rs 8 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each was declared by the board of directors of PFC in its meeting held on March 12, 2021, it added. ....

State-owned Power Finance Corporation (PFC) on Tuesday said that it has extended its financial support for construction of stilt plus two-storeyed school building at Dr K B Hegdewar School premises, in Bambolim, Goa as part of its CSR activities.
PFC has provided CSR fund of Rs 3 crore for the construction of the school, which was inaugurated by Dr Pramod Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, along with Ravinder Singh Dhillon, Chairman and Managing Director, PFC, a company statement said. ....

Demand nearly nine times the 50 lakh bonds on offer
In just two working days since its launch, State-owned Power Finance Corporation’s (PFC) ₹5,000-crore public issue of non-convertible debentures (NCD) has been oversubscribed, prompting the company to close the issue 11 days ahead of its scheduled closure.
The issue which opened on Friday last was closed on Monday (the second working day) after receiving demands for 4.47 crore bonds, nearly nine times the 50 lakh bonds on offer. The issue was originally to close on January 29.
The base issue size was ₹500 crore with a green-shoe option of ₹ 4,500 crore. So technically, the company can retain the entire ₹4,477.63 crore received for the issue, market observers said. ....
