According to sources, a person who came for testing at the district headquarters hospital died while standing in the queue. It is not clear whether the deceased had already tested positive. In another case, the body of an unidentified person wrapped in cloth was sent out from the hospital in the afternoon. The third was the death of a 45-year-old woman from Marx Nagar in the town, who developed COVID symptoms and tested positive. Minister inaugurates Gandhi Seva Centre, Rythu Vedika Finance Minister T. Harish Rao called upon villagers to cooperate for village development taken up by income tax (I-T) officials. Participating in several programmes held at Gonglur village of Pulkal mandal along with MP B.B. Patil and MLA Ch. Kranthi Kiran on Sunday, Mr. Harish Rao said that I-T officials have adopted the village and taking up several developmental activities and now it was the turn of villagers to cooperate.
