Image: Kotaku Australia For a product that isn’t given the same billing as Razer’s headline brands, like the Deathadder, it’s pretty astonishing how good the company’s revision of the Orochi wireless mouse is. There’s a lot of gaming mice out on the market, but they both suffer from a couple of problems. Firstly, many are targeted at the ultra hardcore gamers, especially the wireless offerings. The trend of honeycomb chassis isn’t for everyone, and most of the wireless mice on the market have generally been on the larger side. If your hand is on the smaller size (especially for a lot of women, who often get ignored completely when it comes to the peripheral market), or you wanted a wireless gaming mouse that could also serve really well with laptops or an office environment, there wasn’t a lot that fit the bill really well. Also, good wireless mice could be really expensive. ....

Source: Daniel Rubino / Windows Central A few weeks back, I reviewed the Orochi V2, Razer s latest high-performance travel gaming mouse (it s also great for work). Part of the announcement centered around Razer Customs, a new program where Razer lets you pick from preset designs to add some personal flair to your mouse, mat, or smartphone. Razer sent me a code to try out the program with the Orochi V2. I also bought the Gigantus V2 mouse mat to complete the look and have zero regrets. Source: Daniel Rubino / Windows Central The program is simple enough. Navigate to www.razer.com/customs and choose the product you would like to customize. For now, only the Orochi V2, Gigantus V2, and a few phone cases are offered, but my guess is Razer will add more if the program proves to be a success. ....

It s a program that should ve been introduced a while ago and one that indicates the shortage nightmare is long from being over. Make no mistake: It s a smart program. It encourages current Xbox fans to stay within the ecosystem by giving them a direct line of access to the newest consoles. It helps them avoid the headaches of scouring retailer pages and praying they beat scalpers to the punch. But smart or otherwise, the program s mid-May 2021 arrival says a lot about Microsoft s forecast for the future. ....
