THE Lantern Trail planned for Cardigan Castle later this month has been cancelled.
The castle had teamed up with the town’s Small World Theatre to organise the event in the absence of the annual Giant Lantern Parade which Cardigan has enjoyed every December since 2016.
The event had originally been scheduled to take place in December last year but was postponed until this month due to the ongoing Covd-19 pandemic.
But now the entire event has been called off.
A statement from the castle said: “It is with regret that we have to announce that the Lantern Trail planned for the February 19-21 will have to be cancelled due to current restrictions in place. ....
