Ruth E. Dean, 59, of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away at 11 a.m. Saturday Feb. 20, 2021, in her home following a brief illness.
A lifelong area resident, she was born June 20, 1961 in Jamestown, N.Y., a daughter of the late Garland and Alice Haines Dean, Sr.
For many years Ruth took care of her many family member’s needs and will be remembered as one who loved to play bingo.
Surviving are a son, Todd (Kristie) Dean, a daughter, Jennifer Dean both of Jamestown, five grandchildren, Jasmine, Steven, Jonathan, Tayvin, Jaedyn, two step-grandchildren, Brantley and Bruce, a sister, Susan Shafer and her dear friend Dolly, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. ....
