The Taste of Ridgefield has been an event in past years that builds business for participants while raising funds for the Ridgefield Rotary High School Scholarship Program, a program to help local high school students go to a college of their dreams and Rotary’s Community grants to non-profit organizations. This one fundraiser accounts for roughly 80% of the total funds raised each year by the Rotary to support the Ridgefield community
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Taste of Ridgefield, unfortunately, had to be canceled.
In its place, Ridgefield Rotary has pivoted to an online raffle that will help struggling local restaurants by raffling off gift certificates to them. Local restaurants will be paid for the gift certificates given away in the raffle, a much-needed helping hand for these hard-hit local businesses. ....
