Arrange oxygen cylinders, will refill them: Noida tells residents' bodies | Noida News


Noida: Officials from the Noida Authority on Monday held a virtual meeting with key office bearers of residents welfare associations (RWAs) and apartment owners’ associations (AOAs) to form a mechanism to help Covid patients in home isolation.
The Authority asked the residents’ groups to arrange for oxygen cylinders and said that it will refill them. However, requests of only those RWAs and AOAs will be entertained who have already set up a common facility for Covid patients.
Yogendra Sharma, president of the federation of RWAs in Noida, said: “The Authority has given us a commitment to provide us refilled and loaded cylinders. Some sectors already have facilities equipped with cylinders. We have asked other RWAs to arrange for empty cylinders so that demand of the critical patients can be met at the earliest.” ....

With the 14-day lockdown in the city, the West division witnessed the maximum number of violations of the shutdown, while the
Central division reported the least.
According to the statistics reported by the
Bengaluru police, a total of 7,577 citizens were held for violating the lockdown norms across the city. Out of them, the West division contributed 1,684 vehicles, followed by the South-East division that reported 1,204 vehicles. So far, the
Central division has witnessed at least 329 vehicles caught for being on the road without good reason. Out of the violators caught across all the divisions, 6,901 were bikes, 333 were auto rickshaws, and the rest were four-wheelers. ....
