ROSENDALE, N.Y. — A Poughkeepsie man was apprehended as he left a business at Fann’s Plaza on Route 32 after allegedly burglarizing it, police said Friday.
Silvio Carbone, 57, is believed to have burglarized other stores in the plaza, as well, said Rosendale Police Chief Scott Schaffrick.
Schaffrick said Carbone “was met by officers as he exited the business” and arrested without incident.

Carbone’s arrest followed an investigation into commercial burglaries in the plaza, the chief said. The suspect was charged with four felony counts of burglary and four misdemeanor counts of petit larceny.
Carbone was released with tickets to appear in Rosendale Town Court. ....
