MUMBAI: Central Railway will be installing digilockers at cloak rooms of CSMT, LTT and Dadar stations. This facility ensures complete safety of luggage or belongings of passengers as the it can be opened only through RFID tag technology.
These digital lockers will provide improved cloakroom amenity through safe lockers, digital payment facility, use of RFID tags and online receipt generation.
CR spokesperson said, Passenger who wishes to utilize this facility will first select the available locker. After depositing necessary cash or other mode available in the digilocker it will open for keeping the luggage inside. After keeping the luggage inside the locker it will give a receipt. When retrieving the luggage, the scanner will scan the receipt which has a QR/Bar code for opening the digilocker. ....
