LUXEMBURG, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Luxemburg-Casco’s school board voted in a special board meeting this week to make masking optional, and no longer require quarantines or social distancing.
As it stands right now, a school day at the Luxemburg-Casco District looks just like it did before COVID-19 came along. The agenda for Wednesday’s night board meeting called to revise the COVID related restrictions.
It originally came about as the district started to see an increase in COVID-19 cases as well as close contacts.
According to the district’s COVID-19 dashboard, as of Thursday, there are 14 positive cases among students and 62 close contacts. That’s in a district of about 1,900 total students. ....
