Bayou Blue Middle School has sent some of its students home for virtual learning, Lafourche Parish School Superintendent Jarod Martin said in a press release.
Out of an abundance of caution, due to a number of individuals quarantined and/or COVID-19 positive, a decision has been made for all 6th grade students to transition to virtual learning at home, the release read.
Students in grade 6 will learn from home effective immediately, and return to campus on Feb. 22. All classwork and tests will be available on Google Classroom for students to complete. Students should log in to their Google classrooms each day to log their attendance. ....
